Park City

Only about a 35 minute ride from Salt Lake International Airport, Park City is a destination of choice for families looking for a week-long trip and business travelers with only an afternoon to spend on the slopes alike.

Park City got its roots as a silver mining town, but is now considered one of the premier ski resort communities in the World. It is home to three world-class ski resorts; Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley and The Canyons.

Park City is located about 30 miles East of Salt Lake City, Utah. It was home to many of the 2002 Winter Olympic activities. If feeling adventurous, you can actually test your mettle at some of the most adrenaline pumping sports at the games at the Olympic Park. It is home to one of only 2 bobsled tracks in the US and also hosts ski jumping competitions periodically.

In addition, Park City is the host city for the Sundance Film Festival where thousands of movie stars and fans gather each year to judge the best films in the Independent Film scene. It is one of the busiest times of the year in Park City, so be sure to get your hotel and dinner reservation set early to avoid the incredibly long lines.
